The 31st annual Elk County
Catholic High Schools Boys Fundamental Skills Basketball Clinic will be
held June 4th through June 8th at Elk County Catholic High School. The
camp is open to boys entering grades 1 to 9 as of August 2012. The cost
of the camp is $20 for a single-camper family, $25, for two-camper
families and $30 for three or more. Application forms available at Elk
County Catholic High School.
CURVES in St. Marys is
participating in National Women's Health Week, May 13th through the
19th. Curve's in St. Marys will offer FREE 30-Day Memberships. Stop by

The Sinnemahoning
Sportsmen's Club will sponsor their annual Kids Fishing Derby on
Saturday, May 26th at Brooks Run. For more information call 647-5406.
The 2nd
annual Autism Awareness Charity Ball, presented by
Dickinson Center Inc., Autism program, will be held
on Friday, June 15th at the Red Fern. Tickets are

by the Jack Garret Band.

Inc., Children's Prevent Services Parents As
Teachers program is currently conducting a book
drive to benefit the Elk County Rural Reading
Project-Literacy Express. The Express provides free
books to children in Elk County, ages birth to 5
years of age. A kick-off event has been planned for
Friday, May 18th at the South St. Marys Street
Elementary School gym and auditorium. The event will
include a movie night for children 12 and under.
Entry fee will be a new book, or a $2 donation per
person. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Doors
open at 5:30. There will be an appearance by
"Clifford" the Big Red Dog. For more information

Bennett's Valley C.B. Club will hold their 25th annual Handicap Fish
Rodeo on Saturday, June 2nd in Medix Run, starting at noon. To sign up,

July 3rd in St. Marys.
The 1st annual
Memorial Day Weekend Slow Pitch Softball Tournament will be held
on Saturday, May 26th at the Wilcox Community Park. The event is
sponsored by the Wilcox Little League. The rain date is Sunday,
May 27th. Teams will be picked at random. The tournament is open
to men and women 21 years of age and over. There is a $10
registration fee that includes T-2hirts and food tickets. For
